The Course Open Water Diver, is the gateway to the world of diving, where you will discover new adventures, you will learn the techniques of diving and acquire all the knowledge needed to be certified diver. The course consists of three blocks, the first will develop the basic skills, terminology and safety procedures for self diving (classroom), the second block will learn the basic techniques of diving and with self-contained (confined water) and the third block will develop your skills in diving, will be four open water dives and all under the supervision of a diving instructor of Yucatan Dive Altabrisa. In this course you will increase your diving skills, you will gain confidence and feel more comfortable in the water, you´ll learn underwater navigation, deep diving between 18 and 30 meters deep and other specialties more. The First Emergency Response and the CPR are skills for those practice adventure sports, these sports unfortunately there is a great possibility that an accident occurs and it is required that you know these techniques to take the PADI Rescue Diver Course. You will acquire training to learn emergency medical skills, you will gain enough confidence to help in an emergency.
You will learn SVB (Basic Life Support) CPR and rescue breaths on a non-professional level, prevention and treatment of shock, management of spinal injuries, use of barriers to reduce the risk of disease transmission, basic aids and first aid equipment.
After completing this course you will be able to take the PADI Rescue Diver course.
This course is demanding but very comforting, you will expand you knowledge of how to prevent problems and how to manage them when they happen, you will learn in addition: Self rescue, Recognize and manage the stress of others divers, Equipment and emergency management, rescue of divers in panic, Rescue of unconscious divers.
When you finish the course you will have the ability to think like a rescue diver to handle any emergency situation and give a review of the techniques you will practice with your SSI instructor.

After completing your course you will be able to guide, advice and motivate other divers to further develop their Diving skills.
